The Imagination of Bliss
The Imagination Of Bliss is a gritty Martial Arts urban Drama about a legendary Sensei who comes to terms with his own redemption and spirituality. Chris Santos is changed by the death of his grandfather. He ends his carefree ways doing drugs and womanizing to win back an old flame, help his friends and, start a new religious movement combining Eastern and Western thought. An ensemble cast also comes to terms with their own spirituality, several transforming, affected by Chris’s words. Chris peaks and then falls again as he tries to help a 15 year old painter and winds up in prison where he discovers that his soul’s redemption is like his martial art transformation; from a brutal Goju (Kung Fu mixed with Jujitsu) to a supremely peaceful Aikido.
